When Juniper arrived we had no idea if she would be a boy or girl. What is now her room was our office. Over time we transitioned her there but the room remained overall bare. Once we realized we would be living here a little while longer, we decided to put some effort into the room. It would become her bedroom and a safe haven for my office desk. We did a couple simple things: 1) declutter the room, 2) wallpaper and accent wall and 3) add some color. Here is Juniper’s bedroom makeover!
Little Girl Vintage Floral Bedroom

What is old: What’s extra special about this room is we have kept the same crib, rocker and nightstand from Emmett. Our plan is to carry down both of these items for all of our babies. Hadley used them, now Juniper and eventually Baby February.
What is new: The wallpaper was the biggest change for us. We got the Blu Bell Mural from Anewall (a-new-wall) to help set the mood for the room. It was exactly what the room needed and changed the whole atmosphere giving it a vintage vibe. We decided to play off the pinks from the wallpaper and got rose pink curtains and redid a dresser that we were given. The sheets were technically Hadley’s first and are SO soft (linked below).

My thoughts
I am really happy with how her room turned out! I would still ultimately like to add a few statement frames or shelves to the walls. I love the color and feel of the room. The sun shines right into her room during the day making it a cozy spot in our home. It reflects Juniper in her sweetness and joy and has the floral which goes with her name.

So sweet! I absolutely love it.
