Last summer Starbucks introduced the Salted Cold Foam Cold Brew and I really thought it was coffee heaven. However my wallet did not agree. So I asked my sister-in-law who works there how they make it. Then, since I didn’t have all the ingredients and wanted to make it healthier, I created my own copycat version and named it the Salted Cold Foam Coconut Sugar Coffee.  Grab yourself a frother and a chair outside this summer and you’re set!

Most of my ingredients used are found at ALDI, Costco and Trader Joe’s. However, I was able to find other brands on Amazon and link them below!

-milk frother (I use a hand one from Ikea, but a similar one can be found here on Amazon.)

Instructions
  1. Pour your cold coffee into in the larger glass and add ice. Don't skimp on your ice!
  2. Combine the rest of your ingredients into the smaller glass and froth/whisk together. You don't want to over mix or you will end up with a "harder" foam. I usually do mine for about 20 seconds.
  3. Slowly pour your cream mixture over your iced coffee. The faster you pour the faster it will combine and the less you'll have on top.
  4. Enjoy!

I hope you enjoy this! I've tried to do more almond milk and less heavy whipping cream for health factors, but it just becomes too milky and not as creamy.
